Job Title: Vehicle Energy Management Engineering Specialist

In the Product Development team, we leverage design thinking and user experience techniques to create exceptional products that bring joy to our customers. We are constantly exploring new, sustainable ideas around the world to drive advancements in autonomy, electrification, and smart mobility technologies.

Your Mission (should you choose to accept it):

• Lead all aspects of Vehicle Fuel Economy/EV Range Certification and Roadload Governance
• Work on a diverse range of Electric and Combustion vehicles within the FMC portfolio
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams across various departments

What Success Looks Like:

• Implement systems engineering for optimal fuel economy performance
• Participate in Fuel Economy testing and software updates
• Become a subject matter expert in module software related to fuel economy vehicles
• Collaborate with teams to resolve software issues for future certifications

Your Toolbox:

• 3+ years of Automotive experience
• Experience with Module software and Ford engineering systems
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills
• Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems
• Proficiency in Excel, DET, MCS1, ATI, PT Diag
• Flexibility to support occasional 2nd shift/early evening tests
