Job Description:

As a Millwright Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment within our facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes by conducting regular inspections, diagnosing issues, and performing necessary repairs and adjustments. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, dismantle, and relocate machinery and equipment according to blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Fabricate and machine parts as needed to replace or repair defective components.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a recognized Millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
