Position Description:
The Nursing Supervisor will offer direct nursing care to residents and oversee the daily nursing tasks carried out by nursing assistants.
This supervision must comply with existing Federal, State, and Local standards and guidelines governing our facility, as well as any requirements stated by the Director of Nursing to uphold top-quality care at all times.

Responsibilities of the Nursing Supervisor:
- Collaborate and liaise with healthcare team members to evaluate, devise, execute, and assess patient care plans
- Administer and document prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and report any adverse reactions in line with medication administration policies by a licensed registered nurse
- Educate patients on surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' medical data and vital signs
- Adjust and monitor specialized patient equipment, interpret electronic displays
- Promptly address any negative symptoms displayed by patients
- Offer bedside care to a diverse range of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients
- Perform tasks like changing dressings, catheter insertions, IV starts
- Contribute to discharge planning
- Accurately and promptly record patient care details in the correct format and relevant forms

Requirements of the Nursing Supervisor:
- First aid and CPR certification
- Current RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in your state
- Exceptional skills in staff training and customer service
- Compassionate and amiable demeanor
