The primary role of a Territory Manager is to meet or surpass Straumann's sales targets for all Straumann products by establishing profitable relationships with targeted dental practices and the wider dental community.

The Territory Manager must drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction within an assigned geographical area. This necessitates the ability to connect with customers, proactively identify their needs, and think strategically. Regular travel (including overnight stays) will be required, depending on the specific territory.

This position involves, but is not restricted to, the following:

  • Drive sales growth and optimize revenue within a defined territory by maintaining and expanding existing accounts and prospects through the sale of Implant, Regenerative, and Restorative product lines
  • Offer an exceptional customer experience by serving as a strategic partner to existing customers in the designated territory, focusing on their growth objectives and how Straumann can assist in achieving them
  • Reach new business targets by proactively identifying, targeting, and converting potential accounts and new business with dentists and oral surgeons in the specified territory
  • Develop and maintain territory business plans, sales forecasts, and a budget for sales promotion activities.
Perform assessments of current performance and determine necessary changes Collaborate with Product Marketing and Market Communications to facilitate the implementation of all marketing launch plans and new product sales objectives Ensure the management of referral networks on a regular basis and establish referral networks for inactive GP's Attend and represent Straumann at necessary customer events, including regional events and national trade shows Make efficient use of educational events to engage existing customers, foster brand loyalty, and acquire new customers.

Establish Study Clubs within the territory, actively participate, ensure the rollout of the Straumann presentation in study clubs, and cultivate customer relationships with both existing and new participants Stay updated on key clinical studies and scientific papers that endorse the benefits of Straumann's products Utilize all sales tools, such as SAP CRM, to meticulously plan and measure sales activities against the current customer base and potential customers in the territory.

Regularly generate reports to align trends, customer needs, and opportunities with the territory's business strategy.

All personnel involved in customer interactions are required to document quality activities with every Straumann customer and prospect

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree OR 3+ years of sales experience in rapidly growing corporate sectors Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ongoing auto insurance coverage

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Medical Device Industry Previous sales experience with Physicians as the key point of contact Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate effectively Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities Proficient at collaborating with team members regionally and working independently Adaptability in using various insights and adjusting sales approach based on customer needs and circumstances Uphold integrity, high ethical standards, and professional codes of conduct consistently Capable of delivering complex information in a clear, structured, and compelling manner Skilled in consultative selling with knowledge of the Challenger technique or related methodologies Proficiency in general computer operations, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Base salary: $75,000/Annually, with potential commission up to $55, % on target achievement). Commission is uncapped for this position.

The final compensation for this role will vary depending on geographic location and the candidate's experience relative to what is reasonably expected for the position by the company.
