This individual must promptly respond to guest and department requests, as well as identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.The role involves a variety of tasks to maintain guest rooms, workspaces, and the overall hotel premises in a clean and organized manner.
Tasks include cleaning carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaners, brooms, and carpet shampoo machines, as well as cleaning rooms, hallways, and restrooms. Additionally, the role involves washing walls, ceilings, moving furniture, turning mattresses, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing floors, polishing metalwork, collecting and laundering linen, stocking housekeeping carts, removing trash, and more.Hyatt offers a competitive hourly rate of $22.50 for this position and a comprehensive benefits package for employees, which may include perks such as complimentary hotel stays worldwide, discounted rates for colleagues and friends & family, various leave options, insurance coverage, retirement savings plans, employee stock purchase plans, complimentary meals, and more.
