As a Horticultural Service Technician, you will play a crucial part in caring for the beautiful indoor plantings under our supervision. Your tasks will involve independently following a set schedule to nurture and upkeep healthy foliage plants at various client sites. A reliable personal vehicle, along with vehicle liability insurance and a valid driver's license, is a necessity for this role.



Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Plant Wellness: Providing expert care for interior plants by watering, fertilizing, cleaning, trimming, and optimizing light exposure.
  • Keen Eye for Detail: Identifying and eliminating damaged or unattractive foliage to maintain a tidy appearance for planters and their surroundings.
  • Pest Control: Safeguarding plants against diseases and pests to promote a thriving environment.
  • Presentation Aesthetics: Ensuring the proper staging and top dressing of plants to create visually pleasing spaces for clients.
  • Client Relations: Establishing professional rapport with clients, addressing any issues promptly, and delivering exceptional service.

You'll be Successful if You Have:

  • Plant Expertise: A solid knowledge of horticultural principles and the ability to recognize common plant species.
  • Physical Endurance: Capable of lifting moderate loads (up to 50 lbs), comfortable with ladder use, bending, reaching, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Skill with Tools: Proficient in utilizing hand tools such as scissors, pruners, saws, and sprayers.
  • Safety Focus: A spotless driving record and a dedication to safe work methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for professional client interactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Willingness to engage in training programs and cooperate efficiently with team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain meticulous service records and manage time effectively.
