Nurse Manager - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)



We are excited to announce an opening for the role of Nurse Manager in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) department located in Dallas, TX 75230. With a competitive salary ranging from $107,000 to $120,000 per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, this role offers great potential for professional growth.



Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient safety and quality of care in the NICU.
- Promote effective communication and information management within the healthcare team.
- Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and support systems.
- Coordinate continuity of care across different healthcare settings.
- Implement evidence-based practices and maintain professional care standards.
- Drive departmental initiatives and process improvements.
- Foster teamwork among healthcare professionals.
- Manage personnel, including supervision, payroll, and evaluations.
- Oversee budgeting, expenditures, and physician relationships.
- Act as a liaison for the hospital and the community.
- Optimize departmental operations by managing resources efficiently.
- Perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU leadership experience.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse license in Texas.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Thorough understanding of NICU practices and standards.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage personnel and resources effectively.
- Familiarity with budgeting and quality improvement processes.
