Marriage & Family Therapist

Position Overview:
- Provide family and individual mental health counseling/therapy
- Deliver treatment for mental disorders and psychological conflicts
- Assist families in resolving emotional, mental, and psychological conflicts
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications may require Bachelor's degree)
- Master's Degree preferred
- Postgraduate experience in acute mental health services preferred
- Licenses/Certifications required: LCSW, MFT, or PhD in Psychology
- Facility-specific certification required: Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Department-specific certification required: Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct family and individual counseling sessions
- Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on mental illness and available resources
- Participate in multidisciplinary review meetings
- Document counseling sessions and progress
- Perform assigned job-related duties
Organizational Expectations:
- All associates must receive required vaccinations
- Adhere to safety and wellbeing guidelines for associates and patients
- Medical and religious exemptions may apply
