Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOlsten Staffing is assisting a well-established company in the Florence SC area in the search for an experienced and eager Yard Jockey. This company is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to all customers. The Yard Jockey must be reliable and skilled As a Yard Jockey you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the facility.

Hours:
Monday-Friday

7AM-3:30PM

Pay rate:
$18 an hour

Job Duties:

  • Safely maneuver trailers within the yard using a yard truck.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to prioritize and expedite the movement of trailers.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on yard equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with truck drivers and warehouse staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Keep accurate records of trailer movements and maintenance activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a Yard Jockey or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of yard operations, safety procedures, and basic equipment maintenance.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
