Overview:

This position is every weekend with a bonus equal to 8 hours of your base pay.

Weekend premium

Shift premium for Evening and Night shifts.

Rate of pay based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, observe for any changes in condition, and report findings to the registered nurse or physician
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Respond promptly to patients' needs and requests for assistance, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of patient evaluations, interventions, and responses in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation according to facility policies and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including registered nurses, physicians, therapists, and other allied health professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge planning

Education and Support:

  • Provide patient and family education on health promotion, disease prevention, treatment plans, and selfcare techniques
  • Offer emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and answering questions as needed

Compliance:

  • Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as regulatory standards and guidelines
  • Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections within the facility
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • As an LPN Floor Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct nursing care to patients on a designated floor within our healthcare facility
