Position: Surgical Procedures Coordinator

Summary:
- Coordinates inpatient and outpatient procedures efficiently.
- Provides necessary prep instructions and test requirements to patients and physician offices.
- Ensures accurate patient identification and smooth hospital care facilitation.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages patient flow by inputting surgical procedures and preference cards accurately.
- Acts as a primary contact for coordinating admission and scheduling surgical procedures.
- Identifies and resolves issues promptly, maintaining excellent customer service.
- Handles a large volume of communication while upholding professionalism.
- Maintains medical records, data entry, and office supplies.
- Supports new staff orientation and assists with unit coverage.
Position Qualifications / Experience:
- Prior experience in medical clerical roles.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Proficient in computer use and data entry.
- Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
