Be a Health Care Provider at Camp Hanover

Camp Hanover is a faith-based summer camp affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). Our mission is to create inclusive community, inspire each other to live in God's love, and equip all people to live out God's call.

We offer day camps and overnight camps for elementary, middle and high school age youth. A majority of our camp session last one week, with children arriving on Sunday and leaving the following Saturday.

We are Located in Mechanicsville, Virginia about about 30-minute drive north and east of Richmond.

The Health Care Provider assists with check-in of new campers each week, manages medication, treats campers and staff, contacts parents as needed, and contributes to the overall well-being of all people at camp.

Ideally, the Health Care Provider role is a resident position that includes salary, plus room and board, for the duration of the summer camp season. Family members are welcome. Alternate arrangements for suitable candidates preferring seasonal full time or part-time work on a weekly, daily or hourly basis are also possible.

The ideal candidate will be a medical professional who possess certification as either an MD, NP, RN, LPN, or EMT, and who is comfortable in an outdoorsy, welcoming, inclusive, Christian camp environment.
