Senior Pricing Analyst

Job description: Global Pricing Analyst

This is a significant role at Qorvo, where you'll play a vital part in collaborating with the Business Group and Business Unit Management. Your focus will be on developing analytical reports to identify new pricing opportunities that boost the company's profit margins with both direct and distribution customers.

Objectives:

  • Collaborate with business units and product lines to a) create business analysis reports that drive pricing improvements and profitability decisions, b) maintain updated pricing tools, and c) Support Sales in price review and approval.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Assist the Pricing Manager in pricing analytics, releasing price lists, and enhancing pricing tools.
  • Examine competition pricing in line with market expectations to determine the ideal target product price.
  • Identify areas of margin leakage and develop strategies to increase profits.
  • Generate reports to back customer account analysis.
  • Work with Business Units and Product lines to implement pricing strategies tailored to achieve their pricing objectives.
  • Analyze sales trends, including pricing, quotes, discounting behavior, and opportunity execution.
  • Support customer price negotiations across all tiers through pricing strategy implementation and off-invoice services.
  • Collaborate with the Data Administrator and Customer Service team to maintain pricing data.
  • Assist in corporate audits.
Requirements
  • 3-8 years minimum experience in business analytics, business development, sales, or marketing. Experience in the semiconductor or a related industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, economics, mathematics, statistics, or quantitative methods is desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills to work effectively with a diverse team and influence change across functional and business boundaries.
  • Demonstrate integrity, a positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical skills. Familiarity with financial modeling, data visualization, and database software is beneficial. Knowledge of SAP S/4Hana is advantageous.
  • Attitude focused on continuous improvement to implement best practices internally and externally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Chinese may be advantageous due to Chinese-speaking internal and external customers.
  • Presentation skills to deliver professional presentations to internal and external teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
