Our newly renovated hotel offers an unparalleled oceanfront setting, making it a prime destination for both guests and employees.

Job Specifics

• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
• Sets up assigned station with all necessary supplies, following the "Mis en Place" principle
• Greets guests in a courteous and professional manner in line with Loews standards
• Effectively promotes menu items to enhance the overall dining experience
• Accurately records guest orders and enters them into the POS terminal
• Ensures consistent timing of food preparation and delivery throughout the meal
• Monitors the preparation of each course to maintain a smooth flow
• Checks the presentation of all food items to guarantee they meet guests' expectations
• Serves food and beverages professionally, adhering to Loews Standards
• Anticipates guest needs, responds promptly to requests, and ensures customer satisfaction
• Prepares precise guest checks and handles payments via the POS terminal
• Completes end-of-shift revenue reports and cash deposits
• Performs assigned side work duties as directed by the manager/supervisor
• Additional duties as assigned

• Maintains a polite, friendly, and helpful demeanor towards guests, management, and colleagues
• Executes emergency procedures following hotel standards
• Adheres to all safety regulations and procedures
• Attends relevant hotel meetings and training sessions
• Ensures equipment and work areas are clean and in optimal condition
• Follows hotel standards, policies, and rules consistently
• Actively participates in recycling initiatives when possible
• Stays informed about hotel updates and changes
• Adheres to uniform and grooming standards set by the hotel

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of one year's experience as a Food Server in a busy, upscale Hotel or Restaurant environment
• Comprehensive understanding of food terminology, service techniques, and sanitation standards
• Outstanding guest service abilities
• Basic proficiency in computer usage
• Capable of standing, walking, stooping, bending, and repetitively lifting trays up to 35 pounds throughout the shift
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
