They operate different programs including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members, and Veterans.
In this position, you'll be making a meaningful impact every day on someone's life. You'll be doing fulfilling work and playing a crucial role in the organization's success.
- Deliver training, assistance, and supervision to individuals receiving care in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of support in both residential and community environments.
- Support daily activities like meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
- Foster relationships between employers and individuals served, and encourage community engagement by accompanying them on outings or providing transportation to work or other events.
- Collaborate closely with clinical staff to uphold existing therapeutic and behavioral plans.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Six months to one year of experience in the human services field
- Valid Driver's License from the state of residence
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Clear background checks
- A compassionate attitude with a commitment to helping others
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
