The CT Technologist must be clinically competent; takes photographs of various portions of the body to assist medical officers in detection of foreign bodies and diagnosis of diseases and injuries.

They must have good working knowledge of cross sectional anatomy. They must have the ability to distinguish between normal and abnormal anatomy during a CT exam.

They are responsible for care and safety of patients undergoing treatment, and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burn, and extraneous radiation to patients and personnel.

Requirements:

Current registry with the American College of Radiology and Current License with the Arkansas Department of Health required. CPR certified. Trained and experienced in operating CT equipment. Education in ALARA through image wisely and/or image gently concepts
