Job Description:

  • SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing electrical engineering tasks to enhance safety, quality, and productivity in daily equipment maintenance to drive continuous improvements in equipment availability and throughput.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    - Implementing electrical safety design modifications and enhancements on equipment and facilities.
    - Conducting electrical safety investigations and necessary corrective actions.
    - Developing, documenting, and enhancing preventive maintenance programs to boost equipment availability and throughput.
  • - Offering technical support and troubleshooting for equipment failures and production loss scenarios.
  • - Managing and scheduling daily tasks for electronic technicians.
  • - Analyzing production delay data to establish, modify, or document preventive maintenance tasks.
  • - Generating continuous improvement projects based on production delay data.
  • - Preparing and evaluating equipment failure/root cause analysis reports and identifying corrective action items.
  • - Creating cost justifications for improvement projects and corrective actions.
  • - Planning and supervising work orders for implementing improvement projects or corrective actions.
  • - Coordinating outside contractor activities with maintenance and production personnel to minimize cost and production disruptions.
  • - Assessing critical spare parts and standardizing parts.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborating with planning to organize schedules for extended production outages and major maintenance work.

COMPETENCIES:
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in engineering, maintenance, and product manufacturing knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and general traits such as being action-oriented, a conflict manager, and a decision maker.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Training or experience in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs.
- 1-3 years' experience in Maintenance Engineering or as a Maintenance Supervisor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Working in an industrial setting.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Combination of industrial plants and office settings.
