Job Description:

Enfinity Global is in search of a Head of Procurement, Americas, who will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our corporate procurement and material management processes for sourcing direct and indirect goods and services for PV solar initiatives and BESS solutions in the United States.

In this leadership position, the ideal candidate will oversee equipment procurement (PV modules, inverters, trackers, etc.), drive procurement-related activities, establish or refine procurement protocols, and implement a centralized procurement scheme to enhance the organization's effectiveness.

Responsibility/Duties:

  • Ensure full adherence to company policies on Procurement, Ethics, and HSE management.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define the procurement strategy for projects.
  • Cultivate supplier relationships based on sourcing plans, evaluate potential suppliers, conduct cost evaluations, and negotiate for quality and cost efficiency.
  • Lead the RFQ tender process with reputable module suppliers, inverter suppliers, and other key equipment providers, engaged in negotiations for favorable agreements.
  • Support project teams in negotiating change orders and managing site claims.
  • Monitor supplier performance, develop improvement strategies, and conduct business reviews with major suppliers.
  • Regularly update internal stakeholders on procurement and contract statuses.
  • Review project cost proposals and actual expenditure reports to establish standardized cost summaries and variance analyses, tracking cost movements during negotiations.

Key Requirements:

  • Preferably, an Engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of Procurement experience in the solar PV industry, globally.
  • Sound understanding of industrial project procurement and contract administration.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and possess strong organizational capabilities.
  • Experience in project management within large-scale solar, wind, or storage projects.
  • Familiarity with data interplay between procurement and supply chain systems.
  • Self-motivated and capable of independent work.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to changing environments.
