Concrete Foreman

Location: Utah County

Company: NICOHA Concrete

About us: Nicoha is a leading concrete company based in Springville, Utah. We specialize in flatwork, tilt-up, footings and foundations, and finish work for commercial and residential buildings. Currently, we are experiencing significant growth and seeking a Concrete Flatwork Foreman to assist in overseeing future projects.

As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for leading crews in the successful completion of various concrete projects, ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Your role involves coordinating tasks for the team based on project requirements and providing safety training to crew members.

Our primary work areas include Salt Lake County and Utah County. The typical schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule tasks for crew members
  • Supervise workers to ensure safety, adherence to work standards, and organized workflow
  • Resolve project, material, and personnel issues promptly
  • Adapt work schedules to meet client demands
  • Lead efficient concrete construction crews on diverse projects
  • Motivate the flatwork team to achieve project milestones and deadlines
  • Provide guidance and training to new team members, promoting continuous learning
  • Enforce safety regulations to establish a secure work environment
  • Conduct productive work huddles before and after shifts
  • Collaborate with other construction trades for project coordination
  • Monitor work quality and progress to ensure compliance with standards

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of concrete experience, including leadership roles
  • Proficient in concrete construction processes and OSHA regulations
  • Experience in blueprint interpretation, concrete finishing, and team management
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Preferred OSHA 10 and 30 certifications
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Completion of Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Background Check
