Electrical Engineer - Mid-Level - PE Chantilly, VA (hybrid) Exp Federal is an established full service architectural and engineering firm that provides a full range of design solutions and construction support to the federal government.

The Challenge:

We are seeking a talented mid-level Electrical Engineer, PE to add to our full-service electrical design team in Chantilly, VA Principle Areas of Responsibility: Assist in the preparation of low voltage building design drawings on AutoCad and Revit.

Prepares drawings, specifications, and procedures for the installation, integration, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems. Provides Design/Quality control for ongoing construction projects. Reviews contractor submittals against specifications and responds to contractor Requests for Information (RFIs). Prepares and/or reviews and evaluates design calculations. Develops independent cost estimates both for the government as well as for internal proposal purposes.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. PE license required.
Ability to travel internationally. Proficiency in REVIT. 5-8 years of experience in design within the electrical engineering discipline. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.
