In this role, you will be part of a close-knit, high-performing team. It is a role that is people-facing and gives the first impression to our customers, visitors, and tenants. Here, you will work onoperational duties and provide stellar customer service in the Authority's car parks.

You will monitor to ensure the safety and security of parking equipment and car parks while overseeing contract staff in the parking and transit operations areas of the RDU Authority.

Monitors and ensures the safety and security of parking equipment and car parks, while assisting customers as needed.

Position monitors the online parking system and assists customers with the use of the system in a busy work environment requiring independent decisions, high-pressure situations, defusing difficult situations, and promoting win-win resolutions.

Coordinates the daily operation of parking facilities and contract staffing personnel on assigned shifts supporting the busing and parking operations on a 24/7 basis.

Assigns work monitors performance and evaluates work.
Enforces safety policies and procedures for customers, visitors, and employees.
While driving a company vehicle monitor car park activities and report any unusual activities to security.
While driving a company vehicle monitors parking systems and capacity levels. Ensures vehicle inventory is conducted and processed.
Answers and resolves customer service inquiries in person, or via intercom and telephone.
Manages the efficiency of parking spaces and opens and closes car parks as needed.
Troubleshoots and performs equipment repairs and resetting.
While driving a company vehicle manages traffic flow using signs and cones.
Provides various types of customer service including verifying payments, giving directions, answering questions, lost car assistance, and jumpstarts.
Forecasts parking ticket usage and coordinates ordering replacement stock.
Electronically scans and stores logs, record books, and forms.
While driving a company vehicle issues parking citations to customers illegally parked in the facilities.
Handles high traffic periods including holiday traffic coming into and out of parking facilities.

Maintains industry knowledge of new equipment and revenue control practices to continually improve the protection of parking revenue and parking operations.

Investigates customer complaints and makes decisions regarding actions to be taken.
Performs other work duties as required or assigned.
