The person in this position will also serve in a clinical leadership role within the Community Intervention Specialist Team of Healing Hurt People (HHP). The Clinical Coordinator position will operate out of HHP's main office in downtown Philadelphia, St.

Christopher's Hospital for Children, and/or one or more Philadelphia public or charter schools that are identified as HHP partners for service provision.

HHP is a trauma-informed, hospital and community-based program dedicated to decreasing the long-term consequences of trauma and to increasing physical and emotional healing amongst young people in Philadelphia.

HHP abides by State, Community Behavioral Health (CBH), and Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) standards and regulations. Thus, this position requires the ability to document services provided to HHP participants in a timely and thorough manner.

The Clinical Coordinator will provide acute outreach, trauma-focused individual and family counseling and case management for individuals ages 5 to 35 who are victims or witnesses of interpersonal violence or those who have been impacted by violence.

The Clinical Coordinator will recruit and supervise at least one master's level social work or counseling intern and will serve as the liaison between HHP and local colleges/universities for whom we are providing field placement opportunities.

The Clinical Coordinator will establish partnerships with one or more Philadelphia public or charter schools towards a goal of these schools' becoming sites for provision of trauma counseling and CYPHER (Community of Young People Healing, Experiencing and Rebuilding) groups for HHP.

The position requires the ability to engage with a diverse range of communities within Philadelphia.

Further, the position requires a clinician with strong skills for engaging children's caregivers, school personnel, and other professionals in the settings in which they will work.

Essential FunctionsSupervisorySupervise at least one master's level student and maintain communications with the field offices of local colleges/universities for whom we provide student field placements.

Establish and strengthen partnerships with one or more Philadelphia schools as a source of referrals and a site for service provision.

Participate in individual and group supervision meetings and weekly Case Planning team meetings.
Assist the Director in the orientation, training, and support of CIS staff, as needed.

Provide referrals and intensive case management to help client connection to community resources; collaborate with Community Health Worker Peers, as needed.

AdministrativeExpand HHP CYPHER offerings within Philadelphia schools and/or other partner agencies towards a goal of at least 1 ongoing HHP CYPHER groups.

Keep consistent and accurate records of all contacts with clients in web-based database (Penelope Athena Software); provide documentation needed for billing for services.

Develop and update treatment plans in collaboration with the client and the client's family in accordance with State and payor standards.

Administer and record NOMS surveys to clients and families as required by funders.

ClinicalProvide individual, family, and collateral trauma-focused therapy and advocacy to a case load of 8-12 violently injured young people ages 5 to 35 within hospital, school, home, and office settings.

Serve as trauma clinician and co-facilitator of CYPHER groups within school partner settings.

Weekly client caseload will be adjusted based on client show-rates, rate of provision of group (CYPHER) services, and the productivity of students who are supervised by the Clinical Coordinator.

Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities and promising practices including but not limited to Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Compensation for this grade ranges from $62,630 to $93,950 per year.

Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
