We are on the lookout for a licensed School Based Therapist to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. As a valued member, you will deliver therapeutic services to students within a school environment. Your role involves collaborating with educators, staff, and parents to develop tailored treatment plans addressing each student's distinct needs. Key responsibilities include assessments, counseling sessions, behavioral intervention planning, and active participation in multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

Individualized Counseling: Tailored counseling services meeting students' unique needs and treatment goals during school operating hours.

Caseload Management: Efficiently coordinate and manage cases within set guidelines.

Academic Success Support: Provide preventive, intervention, and assistance services to identified students to enhance academic accomplishments.

Collaborative Treatment Planning: Participate in client sessions to establish treatment goals as per guidelines, ensuring comprehensive and effective plans.

Emergency Response: Swiftly aid during emotional crises, guaranteeing immediate student care and support.

Comprehensive Follow-Up: Conduct or organize thorough follow-up care to ensure ongoing support and well-being promotion.

Community Resource Coordination: Collaborate with school counselors to facilitate student access to diverse community resources, ensuring holistic care and support.

Clinical Assessment and Intervention: Administer assessments and interventions for students and families within school operating hours.

Liaison Role: Act as a liaison to ensure family-wide service delivery and seamless care coordination.

Desired Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

* Burrell offers complimentary licensure supervision for PLPC and LMSW, with salary increments upon LPC or LCSW licensure attainment post no-cost supervision program completion.

Additional Qualifications / Requirements:
- Prior experience in family, individual, and group therapy, and community education provision is preferred
- Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
