JOB DESCRIPTION

Welcome to our team We are currently looking for a skilled individual to join us as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist at our reputable healthcare facility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce high-quality images for all cardiac ultrasound procedures, ensuring accurate measurements and proper techniques.
• Perform ECG tracings for stress tests with precision and provide thorough patient education.
• Demonstrate expertise in providing age-appropriate patient care and maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality.
• Participate in educational programs and quality improvement initiatives.
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the management regarding any issues or suggestions for improvement.
• Adhere to the hospital's mission, vision, and ethical standards.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare test reports, organize documentation, and perform other assigned duties.
• Take part in departmental activities and projects as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

• High school diploma and completion of an Echocardiography program.

EXPERIENCE

• Current BLS certification required.
• Prior experience with cardiac ultrasound procedures and ARDMS Registration preferred.
• Proficiency in using Philips IE33 Echo equipment and arterial Doppler flow.

PHYSICAL & TECHNICAL ABILITIES

• Ability to perform sedentary work and handle up to 20 lbs.
• Proficient in using modern office equipment and demonstrating fine hand-eye coordination.

• Strong ability to interpret various documents and read information accurately.
