Join our team as a Police Officer at ME 101st Security Forces Squadron, National Guard

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct formal combat arms training and maintenance activities
  • Control and operate firing ranges
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain ground weapons
  • Enforce law, maintain law and order, preserve the peace, and protect life and civil rights
  • Oversee the work activities of Drill Status Guardsmen (DSG)

Key Duties:

  1. Perform Combat Arms Training, including presenting courses and training material on the proper use of weapons
  2. Manage and oversee ground weapons training and maintenance program
  3. Coordinate with local Civil Engineering Squadron on environmental issues
  4. Assist with the maintenance and inspection of ground weapons

Requirements:

  • Understanding of military security forces functions, laws, policies, and procedures
  • 12 months experience in practical security force activities
  • Experience in law enforcement and protecting federal property
  • Education qualification required

Note: This position offers the opportunity for conversion to Permanent status and requires compatibility with Military Grades E3-E7 and Military Assignments 3P0X1.
