Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology

Company: Cooper University Health Care

Short Description

  • Clinical application of knowledge and skills in areas like Pharmacology, principals, and application of chemotherapy administration, nursing intervention, liaison for patients/families undergoing treatment.
  • Evaluate patients requiring intravenous treatment or medication and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
  • Determine appropriate venipuncture site and administer intravenous therapeutic treatments such as chemotherapy/biotherapy, blood components, and other oncology treatments.
  • Provide patient and family education on intravenous treatment and side effect management.

Experience Required

Minimum of 3 years of oncology experience preferred.

Education Requirements

BSN; Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.

License/Certification Requirements

  • Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).
  • Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
  • Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification (ONS ONCC).
