About the Job:
The Deputy Director of Applied Research & Services will play a key role in developing, establishing, and overseeing strategies to drive growth in applied research, services, grants, contracts, and partnerships. This position will also focus on the development of new research and lab spaces at the Auburn Research Park.
Responsibilities:
- Grow a comprehensive pipeline of applied research and services
- Develop and operate new research spaces
- Establish interdisciplinary research teams
- Collaborate with industry and government partners
- Facilitate technology transfers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of demonstrated cybersecurity experience
- Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices
