Job Opportunity

We are currently looking for a skilled Mobile Network Engineer to take on a variety of tasks focused on the mobile core network. The ideal candidate should possess fundamental knowledge of mobile networks and exceptional customer communication skills. This role is situated onsite in Reston, Virginia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Represent the mobile team in project and product discussions with internal teams.
  • Attend customer meetings on behalf of the mobile team.
  • Provide technical expertise to the SIM team regarding mobile-related matters.
  • Document and monitor customer issues and solutions utilizing our support system.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new customers, delivering training and continual assistance.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships to understand their changing requirements.
  • Deliver technical support to customers via remote and onsite troubleshooting.
  • Supply technical guidance and practical assistance on 3G and 4G networks.
  • Enhance technical expertise through self-driven research.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or possess equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of mobile network technologies like UMTS, LTE, 5G, etc.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing support position.
  • Familiarity with support ticketing systems and adept at managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the Linux OS and scripting.
  • Readiness to occasionally work outside regular hours for network maintenance support.
  • Possible limited domestic and international travel.
