DESCRIPTION: The Mount Laurel School District is seeking an experienced building administrator to serve as Interim Principal of Larchmont Elementary School to cover the assigned Principal's leave of absence.

  • The Larchmont Elementary School serves approximately 375 students in grades Preschool through 4th grade.
  • The school provides an academically rich learning environment for all students with approximately 95 highly qualified staff.
  • District curriculum supervisors help support the academic and instructional content areas.
  • The schedule and all staffing will be in place for the school year.
General responsibilities will include
  • Supervision and Evaluation of all staff (Danielson Framework).
  • Oversight of daily building operations and management.
  • Working collaboratively with PTO, staff, parents, and administration.
  • Hold Faculty Meetings as per district schedule.
  • Provide administrative oversight for Back to School Night, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and evening events.
