MSHS Assistive Staff Interview Day - Invite Only Date 10/11/23 Patient Care Associate Education Requirements Work requires a high school level of knowledge (graduate or equivalent) in order to prepare reports, keep records and deal effectively with people.

Experience Requirements Three to nine months of healthcare experience preferred. Venipuncture and EKG skills required. Licensing and Certification Requirements (if applicable) Certificate of Medical Assistant training or equivalent. Heartsaver Certification from American Heart Association and/or BCLS.

Nursing Attendant Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent Completed training as a medical assistant or nursing Prefer relevant experience in an inpatient health care setting American Heart Association Heartsaver or BLS Certification required Ability to read, write, understand and speak English in a clear and concise manner.

Visual and aural acuity to assess patient within parameters of job responsibilities. Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
