My name is David, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing company and currently looking for a Technical Drafter for a valued client. This opportunity is based in Everett, WA. Here are the specifics:

Job Details:

  • Pay Range: $30 - $39.62 Per Hour
  • Hybrid Role - Initial 2-3 months require daily in-office presence (training period). Later, it will transition to a hybrid model.
  • Converts engineering requirements into product definition data like detailed drawings, CAD data, Bill of Materials, etc., to relay requirements to downstream recipients.
  • Ensures completed product data aligns with Company and industry standards.
  • Establishes and manages processes for product definition data.
  • Manages product/part structure and configuration of components.
  • Interprets sketches, layouts, and engineering specs into product definition data, considering relevant standards and precedents.
  • Self-verifies product definition data to uphold accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Completed a 2-year design program (or nearing completion).
  • At least 1 year of experience in CATIA, CAD, Novia.
  • Coursework covering the basics of creating a 3D model (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or other 3D software).
  • Training on 2D/3D dimensioning for defining 3D parts.
  • Soft skills for effective communication and collaboration with Engineering and stakeholders.
