Gaming company is hiring a Gameplay Programmer on a permanent, remote basis. As a Gameplay Programmer you will work closely with the engineering team to work on gameplay systems for an upcoming game release. You will be responsible for implementing gameplay systems based on collaboration with the art, design and engineering teams. You will need strong C++ skills and an understanding of gameplay systems.

This role provides a flexible remote working environment, work/life balance, and stability. (Nights/weekend work is strongly discouraged.)

Interview process: 3 rounds (2 video interviews and 1 live, technical problem-solving session)

REQUIREMENTS

-Passion for playing and making video games with a strong self-driven work ethic

-An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent training or relevant professional experience

-Minimum 2 years of game development experience with at least 1 shipped title

-Demonstrated ability to work with designers and artists on features

-Experience working in Unreal Blueprints and architecture

-Strong Knowledge of C++

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Responsible for implementing or improving gameplay systems in support of a racing game

-Testing, debugging, profiling, and optimizing implementations

-Contribute to and support the technical roadmap for future titles
