The Mammography Technologist is responsible for various technical tasks related to capturing and processing x-ray images within the department's scope of activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of a radiologic technology program approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association. Or equivalent education and training as specified by the radiologist.
  • California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification required upon hiring.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification required upon hiring.
  • National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification required upon hiring.
  • Previous experience as a Radiology Technologist; 2 years of experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Member of the California Society of Radiologic Technologist preferred upon hiring.

The figures mentioned represent the base pay range; additional compensation possibilities may include shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.

About the Team

Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a division of Providence that delivers quality, compassionate, and coordinated care to patients across seven states.
