Homebound Tutors provide tutoring services to students who are unable to attend school. Bachelor's degree is required; variety of grade levels and subject areas available. Hours are dependent upon student need.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Candidates should demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain a good rapport with students and possess a personable relationship with teachers.
  • Consideration will be given to the following:
  • Ability to carry out directions in both oral and written form.
  • Various life/work experiences that contribute to the candidate's overall preparedness. Prior experience working with school age children.
SALARY:

$31/hour

GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:
  • Various hours, times, grade levels and subject areas
  • Work 1:1 with student at public library or home
  • Document work completed
  • Maintain communication with Department of Student Services and Special Education
