Job Description

Job Duties: The Workforce Development Manager will facilitate the employment of people we enroll in two training programs—Press ROTC and Bindery ROTC. He will assist in housing and
accommodating candidates from 3 Amigos Recruiting Agency and a Hispanic staffing service. For local candidates, he will perform the initial interview and screening. He will be in charge of finding rental units, negotiating the lease, coordinating the furnishing of them, introducing the new employees to the housing, monitoring the housing for compliance with house rules, finding transportation from the housing. He also will help employees who have achieved operator level find
future housing after they leave the company rental units. He will also help them find transportation if necessary. He will be a member of Human Relations Department and conducting formal orientation
for new employees, not just those hired for the two training programs. He will work with all employees to improve satisfaction at work.

  • Number of Job positions available: One
  • Job Type: Full time.
  • Starting Salary: From $60k to $70k per year
  • Hours Per Week: 40 with reasonable and occasional additional time when needed.
  • Overtime: Not aplicable, this is an exempt position.
  • Workweek: Monday through Friday 8 until 5.
  • Will they work on weekends? On occasions, based on company needs.
  • Payment Days: every other Wednesday
  • Payment Type: Check or Direct Deposit
Qualifications
  • Migratory Status: Available only for US Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents with employment authorization.
  • Experience required? Experience working with human resources is preferred, but not obligatory
  • Is the worker required to supervise other workers? Not initially, but might do it eventually.
  • Criminal Background Check? No.
  • Drug Test? Yes, applicant must take and pass a panel 5 drug test, before departure from the place of recruitment. Cannabis positive result doesn't disqualify a candidate.
  • Language requirement: Applicants must be proficient in both English and Spanish. Reading, conversational, and written.
  • Must attend the job training? On the job training
  • Drivers license required: Yes.
  • Desired degree: Any degree is acceptable.
  • Physical requirements: Office work
Additional Information

TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES TO PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Paid flight to Business Location: Employer will not provide cost of a flight for reporting to work once hired, but employer will pay and require an inperson interview prior to hiring and we will pay for round trip flight and expenses for this trip and stay in Mechanisburg area for the purpose of this interview.
  • Which airport are the workers arriving at? Harrisburg.

WORKPLACE TRANSPORTATION

  • Transportation to and from Worksite? None, employee must provide own transportation.
