We're looking for a Clinical Data Analyst at CRi


CRi is seeking a skilled Clinical Data Analyst responsible for managing clinical data collection and organization. The main focus of this role is to ensure accurate reporting of quality measures and clinical service registries. The Clinical Data Analyst will serve as a valuable resource, bridging quality measures with internal/external reporting goals and core technological capabilities for clinical administrative teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in measurement and business insights for data analytics tool development, ensuring accurate reflection of measurement methodologies and data dictionaries.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement based on reliable data trending, making recommendations for addressing gaps in documentation.
  • Offer technical assistance to clinical teams in measuring desired outcomes and advancing towards reported outcomes.
  • Integrate measures and metrics across pathways, automating data abstraction when possible.
  • Maintain a quality measure catalog detailing measure specifics and rules for reference by analytics tools.
  • Stay updated on clinical quality measurement knowledge and specification changes relevant to projects.
  • Support clinical, administrative, and training teams in aligning data collection efforts and maintaining data warehouse accuracy.
  • Provide quality assurance for analytics tools using quality measures.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of information entered into data collections system.
  • Identify and address potential problems affecting data collection process.
  • Participate in educational sessions and webinars to enhance understanding of databases and project terminology.
  • Complete other assigned duties and projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a technical field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field or related technical discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of databases, technical writing, and quantitative analysis.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software for communication, word processing, and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present to different levels within the organization.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to changing work environments.
  • Detail-oriented with high quality and productivity standards.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple clinical domains.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of national quality performance measurement and reporting, especially related to CMS, Virginia Department of Health, and Behavioral Health and Disabilities Services.
