Edge Cloud Developer Opportunity at Booz Allen

Are you a tech-savvy individual passionate about pushing the boundaries of cloud technology to the edge? We are in search of an Edge Cloud Developer to join our dynamic team at Booz Allen. In this role, you'll be tasked with developing, managing, and securing a cutting-edge container platform that caters to the unique needs of our clients while leveraging the power of cloud capabilities in challenging edge environments.

As an Edge Cloud Developer with us, you'll have the chance to make a real impact by utilizing your expertise in cloud technologies to drive forward-thinking solutions that enhance client environments. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cloud architects and engineers on innovative projects that focus on deploying container platforms across a variety of environments, including physical servers, bare metal, and Edge Compute devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and secure container platforms
  • Create repeatable patterns for seamless deployment
  • Collaborate with application development teams to solve complex problems
  • Support the team in informing strategy and design decisions
  • Ensure standards are met throughout the containerization process

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience deploying Kubernetes on small-scale devices
  • Familiarity with AWS Snow family products
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell Script
  • Secret clearance or higher
  • Master's degree
