Overview:

The Housekeeping Department Specialist plays a vital role in managing the housekeeping operations with a focus on maximizing guest satisfaction and room productivity. They are responsible for ensuring a high level of service delivery while maintaining a friendly and efficient environment within the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, managers, and colleagues.
  • Manage room assignments, inspections, and scheduling.
  • Address guest requests, issues, and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Assist in implementing new programs and training initiatives.
  • Supervise and support Rooms Division personnel following company standards.
  • Foster employee morale and conduct training for the housekeeping team.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and regulations.
  • Oversee and participate in the implementation of service standards and training programs.
  • Monitor room readiness and handle escalated guest situations.
  • Conduct inspections to maintain cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in meetings and assist in revenue forecasting.
  • Support the Guest Recognition Program and VIP services.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction with quality housekeeping services.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in hospitality or related field.
  • Prior supervisory experience is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle physical demands and long working hours.
  • Effective problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and guest service skills.
  • Compliance with hotel standards and safety regulations.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to attend required meetings and trainings.
  • Warm and friendly demeanor with a customer-centric approach.

Salary Range: $25.00 per hour
