Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and managing warehouse operations including safety, labor, planning, inventory management and order fulfillment.

The Warehouse Manager will also train team members in job duties to maintain consistency, and accuracy throughout the warehouse.

This role will support the Director of Procurement and Senior Food and Beverage Buyer and will also provide leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced, sophisticated environment in order to promote a culture of excellence.

All duties are performed in accordance with department and property policies, practices and procedures.

Job Duties
Manage warehouse and logistics operations
Establish operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, and keeping warehouse inventory current
Implement cycle counting and/or physical inventories using inventory system reports, inventory software and count sheets in order to ensure inventory accuracy
Manage team member tasks and responsibilities to receive, store and load goods in accordance with established company standards and procedures and within budgeted and accuracy goals
Manage the physical inventory for par levels, inactive inventory and ensure spoilage and waste is minimized
Provide leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced, sophisticated environment in order to promote a culture of excellence
Accountable for delivering consistent extraordinary customer service to all internal customers throughout the property that meets and exceeds guest satisfaction
Promote diversity, inclusion, pride, respect, camaraderie and fairness
Have fiscal responsibility for both the property as well as the departments by consistently looking for ways to refine the business processes that enhance guest satisfaction
Responsible for overall department team member development including hiring, firing, coaching, offering recommendations, promoting and/or accountable for any changes to an employees status
Manage departmental expenditures within scope
Bring forward ideas for new and refurbished services, practices or processes
Continue to learn and be on the forefront of new technology and processes for the warehouse

Proactively seek internal customer feedback and liaise with other departments when opportunities present themselves ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience.

Manage internal customers requests and own all complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guests satisfaction
Develop collaborative relationships and synergy with all support departments such as Convention Sales & Services, Facilities, Security, Front Services, Front Office, F&B, Golf Course and Executive Offices
Perform other functions as needed

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Sunseeker Resorts does do criminal background checks.

Education:
High School Diploma/GED

Years of Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a warehouse
3-5 years of relationship management
3-5 years in departmental leadership role

Other Minimum Requirements
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Email, Word and Excel.
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines
Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms

Preferred Requirements
Bachelors Degree Preferred
Experience in purchasing for large hotel/resort

General Labor Resort - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to perform repetitive motions such as operating cleaning equipment (i.e. Vacuum, floor washing equipment, and laundry machinery) time clock, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, move, transport, or carry up to 100 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to noise (i.e. resort, grounds, restaurant, machinery), temperature (i.e. kitchen, refrigeration, warehouse, outdoor), chemicals (i.e. cleaning solutions and aerosols), dusts, particulates, vapors, fumes, gases, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in open or confined areas.

COVID-19 Vaccination National Mandate
