Store Bookkeeper at Town Pump

Summary: Are you ready to join a dynamic team as a Store Bookkeeper at Town Pump in Red Lodge, MT? As a Store Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in assisting the store manager with implementing sound accounting decisions aligned with Town Pump standards and procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, including handling telephone calls efficiently.
  • Organize and prioritize office tasks effectively to ensure completion.
  • Ensure security of store assets, manage cash fund, fuel, inventories, and audit shift reports.
  • Complete accounts receivables transactions accurately, such as counting money and banking activities.
  • Accurately complete all store paperwork, including daily reports, purchases, and inventory adjustments.
  • Receive merchandise following appropriate controls, and order office supplies as needed.
  • Process store invoices, including auditing costs and retail prices.
  • Record sales and purchases in the store's system, balancing records to office reports.
  • Verify time cards for payroll purposes and enter purchases into the computer system.
  • Interact positively with the public, delivering exceptional customer service.

Non-Essential Duties:

  • Perform store maintenance tasks, such as policing, cleaning restrooms, and stocking coolers.
  • Assist customers with transactions and maintain a clean store environment.
  • Handle island garbage disposal and maintain cleaning supplies.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors.
