Operating Room Nurse Needed in New Hampshire

Licensure: NH or Compact RN License Required

Description: Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse to join our team in Dover, NH. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours per week, rotating day and evening shifts with varied start times. While on-call duties are not required, the position may involve weekend work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating room procedures and patient care, with a minimum of two years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide perioperative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available
  • Monitor patients vital signs and assist the surgical team during operations
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care
  • Assist in the assessment and evaluation of patients pre- and post-operation
  • Support patient safety and comfort throughout their surgical experience

Qualifications:

  • Active NH or Compact RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of OR experience
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
