Housekeeping Position at Our Senior Living Facility

  • Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial housekeeping
  • Proficiency in English
  • Effective communication skills with residents, families, and officials
  • Empathy and willingness to assist elderly individuals
  • Compliance with health standards
  • Capable of fulfilling all job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily tasks and handle unexpected cleaning situations
  • Work in various areas within the facility
  • Follow proper instructions for cleaning products and tools
  • Perform dusting, vacuuming, and mopping daily
  • Address spills promptly
  • Respond quickly to impromptu cleaning needs
  • Empty garbage bins in living spaces, offices, and common areas
  • Tackle tough cleaning tasks when necessary
  • Regularly inspect high-traffic zones for cleanliness
  • Assist residents needing additional cleaning support
  • Maintain cleanliness in shared spaces
  • Engage respectfully with residents and colleagues
  • Additional duties may be assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Medium Work - Ability to lift 20-50 pounds occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently
