About the Position:

Join our team at Nestl Purina Support Center (NPSC), where we specialize in manufacturing, repairing, and testing equipment used worldwide to create quality pet products. Our state-of-the-art facilities, including a modern machine shop and welding Fabrication Shop, allow us to maintain an extensive spare parts inventory to support NPPC Factories efficiently. As part of the welding team, you will play a crucial role in welding mechanical equipment and providing global technical support whenever required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Skilled in producing high-quality welds using TIG and MIG methods
  • Successful completion of all required weld tests following training
  • Collaborating with Class A and B Welders to assist in project welding and finishing tasks
  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and weld symbols
  • Competent in using various tools such as Oxygen/Map Gas torch, Handheld Plasma cutter, Plate rolls, CNC Break Presses, and Plate shear under supervision
Qualifications:
  • Education: Associates Degree or Certificate in Welding
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years welding experience on heavy equipment in manufacturing, industrial, military, or similar settings

The pay structure is as follows: Welder C $32.74, Welder B $35.62, Welder A $38.22. Please note that compensation may vary based on individual skills, abilities, and geographic location.
