Accounts Receivable Associate


The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for maintaining customer accounts, sending invoices to customers, and providing accounting support to the finance department.


Responsibilities:

  • Process and post customer payments to accounts receivable system.
  • Review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accurate billing and payment posting.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes with customers regarding payments.
  • Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely fashion.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past due balances.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for customer accounts and transactions.
  • Assist in monthend closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
  • Provide support for audits and financial analysis as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline accounts receivable procedure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related experience preferred.
  • 13 years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Experience with collections and credit management is a plus.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.

$ $23.00 per hour
