Partner with BAYADA to become an RBT:

Fully PAID training to prepare you to become a nationally certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) (includes exam reimbursement)Up to 80 hours of classroom and hands-on learning to use applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to help clients learn and grow

Responsibilities for a BAYADA Behavior Technician includes:

Work directly with students in the classroom, following the established service plan.Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams. Respect the values, thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes of clients and families.Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers to support the student in the classroom environment.Document interventions and progress towards goals Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan.Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help the student acquire and maintain skills and to help meet identified goals.Provide training and/or support to the client in interpersonal skills, the development and maintenance of personal relationships, and building independence in their school routine.

Qualifications for a School-Based Behavior Technician:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certified or the desire to pursue certification (paid for by BAYADA)Be at least 18 years of ageOne year experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities in a school settingpreferredEducation QualificationsA minimum of an Associate's degree ORCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with a minimum of 48 credits earned ORPassage of the ParaPro Praxis assessment (BAYADA assistance available)
