JOB SUMMARY: The Information Technology Services Manager assists the CIO in directing the daily operations of the technology staff. The Manager leverages excellent technical aptitude and superior project and people management skills to effectively manage the programs, people, and resources critical to the technology infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • In conjunction with the CIO, creates, implements, and administers overall policies and goals for technology needs.
  • Perform human resource management duties, including, hiring, training, performance monitoring, promotions, terminations, and work prioritization.
  • Directs and supports Network Supervisor, Deployment Coordinator, Lab Manager, and other technology staff in defining priorities of daily responsibilities.
  • Monitor production environments to ensure systems are running efficiently, effectively, accurately, and securely. Providing communication and escalation to CIO and department management on critical incidents or problems.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Science degree (preferred) from an accredited institution or 3-5 years of relevant IT and management experience. Higher Education experience preferred.
  • Information Technology management or similar experience preferred.
  • Sound working knowledge of ITS operations, systems, and security.
  • Technical experience with SQL, Cloud Security, and/or M365 and Azure AD required. SQL, Jenzabar J1 and JICS, Crowdstrike, Quicklaunch, M365 and/or Azure AD experience preferred.
