Job Overview: Operating and maintaining the Ink Jet Stitcher to meet quality and production targets. Additional responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up, operating, repairing, and maintaining Saddle Stitcher and Ink Jet System.
  • Interpreting job ticket instructions, ordering material, completing production run, and documenting finished run quantities.
  • Running and maintaining Ink-Jet controller, including downloading data from a network throughout production.
  • Training assistant operators and crew members, overseeing their work.
  • Ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.
  • Strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Proper handling of hazardous waste.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Dependable, reliable, and responsible.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
  • High school diploma or GED completion.
  • Team-player with flexibility and openness to change.
  • Capability to follow instructions and initiate tasks independently.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness for overtime work when necessary.
  • Capability to work 12-hour shifts.

Schedule: Back Half Night Shift- 7pm-7am Wednesday night, Thursday night, Friday night, and E/O Saturday night.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of bindery experience.
  • Basic understanding of small packaging processes.

Physical Requirements:
  • Extended periods of standing during equipment setup and operation.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
