Schedule Details/Additional Information:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday 11:30 am - 8:00 pm. Call requirement 1 weekday and weekend every 5 weeks. 1-hour flex of start time. May require occasional travel to Pleasant Prairie.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Sets up monitoring equipment in the operating room.
  • Assists during surgical procedures.
  • Calibrates pressures and recording systems.
  • Assists in patient transfers and data collection.
  • Cleans and maintains equipment.
  • Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions.
  • Demonstrates age-appropriate patient care.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.

Education Required:

  • High School Graduate.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 1 year in healthcare setting.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Completion of hospital-based certifications.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Operates necessary equipment.
  • Exposed to hazards; protective clothing required.
  • Various physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling.
  • Potential exposure to fumes and odors from Operating Room (OR).
