About STMA Schools We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for preschool and kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities Provides health services within the School Health Program including first aid to sick and injured students and staff, and assisting with various health screenings. Additionally, is responsible for answering phone calls regarding student health and documenting student health needs.
Schedule : This position will be Monday-Friday, 6.5 hours per day, at designated times dependent on which building assigned.
Wages : $18.32/hour
Requirements & Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and Licensed Practical Nurse or comparable training. Experience in administering First Aid and CPR certified. Have working knowledge of various medical equipment including but not limited to nebulizers, glucometers, glucagon, epi-pens, peak flow meters, audiometer, tympanometers, and inhalers; possess respectful, empathetic listening and communication skills with students, families, and staff.
