** Merchandise Planner (Apparel)**

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an **Apparel Planner** for Bioworld apparel and sleepwear. This role will forecast the business, work with the sales and blank purchasing teams to monitor and replenish inventory and play an integral role in managing inventory to support forecasts and inventory age metrics.

**Qualifications**

2+ years planning and forecasting experience; blank inventory and VMI experience preferred

Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

Ability to influence cross-functional teams, as well as confidently make presentations to all levels of the organization

Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills

Excellent project management with proven experience directing change

Proficient in excel, data mining and formulating a compelling game plan

Motivated, enthusiastic, creative and results-oriented

**Essential Job Duties**

Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and selling trends to develop forecasts that maximize the business and minimize inventory position

Managing communication between specific account data, Purchasing Operations and Sales

Responsible for managing the VMI process for specific accounts

Carefully monitoring stock levels, blank demand planning and purchasing timelines, retailer placements and target costs

Analyzing and interpreting inventory levels based off stock and sales plans and taking appropriate courses of action

Verifying receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered, resolving errors in shipments by communicating with blanks purchasing team

Monitoring account usage and surfacing inventory position to sales to develop a proactive approach to inventory liquidation
